An existential romantic comedy
In a college flashback scene, Tim
and Andrea ponder brain power, Pavlov's Dogs and fruit flies.
Just what does fate have to do with romance, anyway? Is it ever more
than a rationalization — or justification — for our actions? And if so,
does that make it more "romantic," or less?
Such is the basis for "Something Between Us," an
existential romantic comedy focusing
on the intimate friendship between Tim and Andrea (George Thomas Jr., Louisa
Elder) — two good friends from college who, several years after
graduation, are reunited in Chicago, where they ponder life, fate,
relationships, and, yes, romance.
